Online Athletic Registration Instructions 

• Year: Select the current Academic year (Fall 2023 is the 23-24 school year)
• School: Edgewood (CIF-SS)
• Sport: Select the 1st sport that your student wishes to try-out for this year. You may later submit clearance information for other sports. 

7. Fill out all areas with your student.

• Step 1 - Student Info
  • All fields must be filled out. You MAY scan and upload a completed copy of your physical form. Turn in the hard copy to Coach Soto in the Athletics Office. The certification of the online signatures must be filled out.
• Step 2 - Medical History
  • Answer as accurately as possible. In the case of an emergency, medical personnel will want as much information as possible.
• Step 3 - Parent/Guardian Info
  • All fields must be filled out.
• Step 4 - Signatures
  • Parent/Guardian is required to electronically sign all marked areas. Student is required to electronically sign all marked area.
  • Students must be covered with medical insurance to participate.
  • Myers Stevens Toohey Insurance is an affordable option. See Coach Soto for more Info.

8. After your information and completed physical is submitted, Coach SOTO will review and clear your student for participation. You will receive an email notification when cleared. 

Code of Conduct for Athletic Events - Parents, Fans, & Spectators

1. Provide positive support, care, respect, and encouragement to your student athlete and his/her team. 

2. Demonstrate good sportsmanship toward the visiting team, coaches, officials, and their fans. They are our guests and we are guests when other schools host our games.

3. Maintain positive behavior and attitude at all athletic practices and contests. 

4. Respect the position and professionalism of the game officials regardless of the calls made. 

5. Refrain from the use of foul language. 

6. Refrain from yelling criticism at athletes, coaches, teams, or officials. 

7. Refrain from making derogatory comments to players, other parents, spectators, game officials, or school administrators. 

8. Allow coaches to be responsible for your athlete during practice, games, or team related activities. 

9. Assist in providing for your athlete’s safety and welfare. 

10. Abide by and support any and all rules, guidelines and policies of our school, Edgewood High School, WCUSD, the CIF-SS and the League.
