Summer Expanded Learning Opportunities

Dear Current and Future Edgewood IB Families,

We are excited to let you know that we will be offering a variety of options for our in-person summer programs for students. These programs are intended to provide supplemental instruction and support for social and emotional well-being.  Our summer program will be facilitated by teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, athletic coaches, and mental health providers. This has been made possible due to new State legislation and funding for expanded learning opportunities.

In alignment with the state legislation, our first round of invitations will be for students belonging to our prioritized pupil groups.  Prioritized pupil groups include students on Individualized Education Programs, 504 Plans, Foster and Homeless Youth, English Learners, free or reduced-meal eligible students, and students performing below grade level.  Based on this criteria, your child has been identified as an eligible student for the in-person summer program.

Transportation will not be provided due to safety restrictions imposed by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.  A grab and go lunch will be provided on a daily basis.

For availability, please contact your counselor.

The following programs/courses will be offered on Edgewood IB School’s campus:
